Check current requirements

Requirements, fees and timelines in the UAE change. Message on WhatsApp — we'll check them against your activity and jurisdiction.

Separate the owner's relocation from moving the business

Personal relocation and launching a company are related but distinct projects. Specify exactly what is being moved: management, team, sales, warehouse, production, or only a new business line. Record which processes remain in the original country and who is responsible for them. Without this, it's easy to end up paying for two infrastructures at once without understanding which one generates revenue.

Verify demand in the new market

A successful product in your previous market does not necessarily sell in Dubai under the same conditions. Clarify the audience, competitors, communication language, sales cycle and service expectations. Conduct a small demand check before major investments: interviews, a test offer, and talks with potential partners. Separately assess whether a local team and a physical location are required to deliver on customer promises.

Define the operating model

Document who your client is, where payments come from, where services are delivered and how orders are fulfilled. Based on this map, discuss the company's structure, activities, premises and any required approvals with relevant advisors. Do not choose an option solely because of a promotional registration price. It must align with actual operations; project-specific requirements are verified before formalization.

Prepare a transition-period budget

Compare one-time startup costs with ongoing expenses and obligations of the operating business. In a cash calendar, reflect the periods when the new company is not yet receiving sufficient payments while the previous infrastructure continues to require funding. Separate family personal expenses from company expenses. Allow for a delayed launch scenario and determine the point at which the plan must be reassessed.

Migrate processes in stages

Choose a small area where you can test the new model: serving a single segment, a specific product, or working with a few confirmed clients. Appoint people responsible for inquiries, contracts, delivery and quality control. Customer data and contractual obligations must not be transferred automatically without checking the legal basis and conditions. Such matters should be discussed separately with relevant specialists before migrating systems.

Define criteria for a successful launch

Before scaling, agree on measurable criteria: repeat sales, consistency of delivery, actual costs and service quality. Company registration alone does not mean the business is launched. Verify whether the team can execute the full cycle from inquiry to payment and order fulfillment. Based on the pilot results, decide which processes to scale and which to change.

How to prepare for a project review with Svetlana

Describe your current business, client geography, team, budget and the reason for relocation. Indicate what has already been done and which decisions are urgent. For the first conversation, anonymized metrics are sufficient; passwords, bank access and personal databases are not required. During the consultation you can structure the project's validation stages and a launch plan, and later agree on ongoing support separately.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to move the entire team immediately?

Not necessarily. The decision depends on processes and customer demand. Often a small portion of operations is tested first and only then is the team scale determined.

Can we discuss the existing business and not just the new company?

Yes. For the review, the current model, main expenses, the team and the problems the Dubai launch must solve are all useful.
